If you are
requesting to return an item for replacement,
the following conditions apply.
- Consent
You should always obtain consent to return items to Nails and Things before
attempting to do so. Nails and Things are NOT obliged to provide replacements
and do so only at their discretion.
- Condition
- Unopened / Unused
Only unopened / unused items can be replaced. If the item has been opened
or sampled, it cannot be returned unless deemed faulty.
- Return
Post and Packing
You are responsible for the cost of return postage. It is best to return
items in their original packaging. Ensure that items are packaged well to
avoid breakages. Items broken in transit will NOT be replaced. Similarly
items lost in transit will NOT be replaced. Consequently we strongly
recommend you obtain proof of postage and / or a value-back guarantee,
such as provided by the Royal Mail Special Delivery (click
here). Please remember postage is at your own risk and those
extra few minutes spent on careful wrapping, or those extra few pennies to
upgrade your postal options could help you avoid disappointment.
- Replacement
Postage
You are responsible for the cost of replacement postage. You should enclose
a cheque with your replacement request payable to Nails and Things Ltd for
the cumulative value based on:
- £2.50 for the initial item
- £0.50 for every additional item.
- For example, if you wish to replace
4 polishes, you will need to include
a cheque of value (£2.50 x
1 plus £0.50 x 3) £4.00.

Checking
Please ensure that you have read carefully the instructions above. Failure
to abide by these may result in disappointment. If you are at all unsure
of the process, please contact us for confirmation before dispatching.
- Damaged
Goods
All orders are carefully checked
before dispatch. However, very
occasionally items are damaged
during transit. If your goods
are delivered
damaged, please ensure that the original packaging and content is kept
as damaged goods must be returned for our examination. Contact Nails and
Things Ltd within 5 working days of receipt to obtain authorisation to
return the damaged goods. Nails and Things Ltd will only dispatch replacement
goods after the receipt of the damaged item(s), usually within 5 working
days.
- Safety Recommendations
Where
items are damaged, please
use great
care, keep
handling to a minimum and
take all appropriate safety
precautions to avoid injuring
yourself
/ others / property, etc. If you suspect items are damaged, we
strongly recommend you do
not open the packaging but
return it as is. If upon
opening
the packaging you observe broken items, then please do not inspect
the content further, simply
seal the packaging ready
for return. We can accept
no responsibility for injuries or damage that may arise handling
damaged
good.
